Jetten and Keenan have long dreamed of starting a family. Together with a surrogate mother and an egg donor, that dream now appears to be coming true. The birth of their child is expected in the spring of 2027.

The pregnancy was made possible thanks to a couple who are friends of theirs and already have children. The surrogate mother is Dutch, as is the egg donor. There is no commercial surrogacy involved. The surrogate mother and the egg donor are known to Jetten and Keenan. They are pleased to be able to help fulfil the wish of the two fathers-to-be to have a child in this way.

Rob Jetten: “We are incredibly grateful that, thanks to two wonderful women, we now have the opportunity to make our dream come true. The surrogate mother and the baby are doing well, which is of course the most important thing for now. We strongly urge everyone to respect the privacy of those involved.”

Surrogate mother Lisa wholeheartedly chose to embark on this journey together with Jetten and Keenan: “I grew up in a warm and loving environment and now have a wonderful family of my own. With the unconditional support of our loved ones, surrogacy feels like a very special way to help make the dream of our dear friends come true.”
