Our plan is built on 3 cornerstones.
Positive
D66 sees opportunities. We want to make Baarn the greatest municipality in the Netherlands. This goal is within reach given our rich history and the beautiful parks and forests in Baarn and Lage Vuursche. By investing in tourism, housing, mobility and wellness, Baarn will become the nicest municipality for people to live, work and spend their free time in.
Ambitious
D66 is working to make the town centre lively with space for cultural activities and new business ventures. We want to build homes for different life stages and housing needs. We promote energy saving measures and sustainable energy development. We believe in equal opportunities for everybody: in education, health care and society in general.
Open
Together we are the municipality. D66 is focusing on active participation such as a youth council and neighbourhood budgets. Residents should receive municipal information on important subjects in understandable language. We believe that municipal service should be customer-oriented, reliable and prompt.
