Municipal elections

On Wednesday, March 18, Diemen will head to the polls for the municipal elections. This is the moment when residents decide the future of our community.

As an international resident, you can most likely vote in the municipal elections. Everyone who has an EU passport, or has been living in The Netherlands legally for over five consecutive years, has the right to vote for the Diemen municipal elections. To vote, you only have to be registered as a resident in the city.

Your voice truly matters. Together, we can shape a Diemen where everyone feels at home.

D66 in Diemen

Diemen is thriving. New homes are being built, our sports and cultural facilities are growing, and our community is more vibrant than ever. And we make sure everyone can take part. Because only together do we build a strong, connected community.

D66 stands for equal opportunities, great education, clean energy, and an open, inclusive community without language barriers. Let’s continue building the future of Diemen together. In Diemen, we show that progress is possible.
