O\u00f3k is het belangrijk d\u00e1t we woningbouw op een duurzame en zorgvuldige manier doen. Nieuwe woningen moeten niet alleen n\u00fa gebouwd worden, maar ook bijdragen aan groene, gezonde en toekomstbestendige wijken. Juist daarom vraagt een ontwikkeling als de Gnephoek om extra aandacht voor water, bodem, natuur en ruimtelijke kwaliteit.<\/strong><br><br><strong>Tijdens de Statenvergadering benadrukte Statenlid Vinesh Lalta dat de Gnephoek geen gewone woningbouwlocatie is. \u201cWe spreken hier over bouwen buiten bestaand stads- en dorpsgebied,\u201d stelde hij. \u201cDat maakt dit besluit fundamenteel anders dan reguliere woningbouw. block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tVoor D66 is de kernvraag eenvoudig: hoe zorgen we dat belangrijke voorwaarden niet alleen op papier staan als wens, maar ook echt gerealiseerd worden? In de stukken staat dat water en bodem sturend zijn, dat natuur moet worden gecompenseerd en dat kwaliteit voorop moet staan. Maar volgens D66 zijn die afspraken nu nog onvoldoende hard vastgelegd.<br><br>Met een amendement wil D66 juridisch borgen dat woningbouw in de Gnephoek alleen mogelijk is als aantoonbaar wordt voldaan aan voorwaarden als water en bodem sturend, voldoende waterberging en klimaatadaptatie, natuurcompensatie en een robuuste groen-blauwe kwaliteit. Want als de uiteindelijke uitwerking vooral bij de gemeente ligt, moet ook vooraf duidelijk zijn hoe wordt getoetst of aan de provinciale voorwaarden wordt voldaan.<br><br>Met een amendement stelt D66 daarom voor om vast te leggen dat het omgevingsplan expliciet moet onderbouwen hoe aan die voorwaarden wordt voldaan. Dat kan volgens de fractie alleen als duidelijk wordt gemaakt waarom deze keuze in dit geval verantwoord is.<br><br>Daarom vraagt D66 met een motie om een helder afwegingskader voor vergelijkbare locaties. Zo wordt niet alleen dit besluit beter onderbouwd, maar ontstaat ook meer duidelijkheid.
