Na een winkelbezoek op een hete zomerdag tegen een muur van hitte oplopen. Extreme warmte in steden wordt ook wel hittestress genoemd. Hittestress heeft negatieve gevolgen voor de gezondheid en met name het welzijn van mensen in steden. Dit doe je doormiddel van het planten van voldoende bomen en struiken. Bomen en ander groen zorgt ervoor dat de zon niet direct op straat schijnt.
