Ik denk dat mijn politieke interesse vanuit meerdere kanten komt. Ik heb altijd een sterke eigen mening en een stukje eigenwijsheid gehad. Vanaf mijn zestiende begon ik echt naar de maatschappij om ons heen te kijken en daar zag ik zaken die ik graag verbeterd zou willen zien. Ik was dus jong, had idee\u00ebn en de drive om er echt iets mee te gaan doen, de vraag was alleen waar ik die idee\u00ebn kwijt kon.\u00a0\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n combinatie met het uitje naar het binnenhof voor maatschappijleer, heeft mij het eerste zetje gegeven. Daarna kwam de volgende stap, het kiezen van een partij die goed bij mijn idee\u00ebn aansluit. Links, rechts, progressief of conservatief. Na zorgvuldige afweging trok D66 mij het meest aan. Met name vanwege hun progressieve instelling en de manier waarop onderwijs een van de speerpunten is. Daarna volgde de\u00a0 laatste stap, hoe kom je nou bij zo een politieke partij? Ik had mazzel en kende toevallig iemand van de fractie van D66 Zaanstad. Wij raakten in gesprek over mijn politieke interesse en hij vroeg of ik toevallig nog opzoek was naar een bijbaan. Ik heb een aantal keer meegedraaid in de openbare fractievergadering en was meteen verkocht. De sfeer aan tafel was goed en wie kan er op zijn achttiende nou zeggen dat ze met een wethouder om tafel hebben gezeten.\u00a0<br><br>Ik zei ja tegen de baan van fractieassistente en dat heb ik dan ook met veel plezier 4 jaar lang gedaan. Toen ik 21 was en dus wat wijzer en volwassen begon het echter te kriebelen, ik wilde graag dichterbij het politiek vuur zitten. Toen de kans zich afgelopen november voordeed om steunfractielid te worden twijfelde ik echter heel even. Ik werk inmiddels 36 uur in de week en weet hoeveel tijd de politiek in beslag kan nemen. De twijfel duurde echter niet lang en ik ben er dan ook vol voor gegaan. Ik ben inmiddels twee\u00ebntwintig jaar en werk inmiddels een half jaar als steunfractielid, ik focus mij met name of de onderwerpen wonen, zorg en burgerparticipatie. Ondanks dat het soms hectische en drukke weken kunnen zijn heb ik geen spijt van mijn keuze. Ik blijf mij dan ook volle bak inzetten om de gemeente Zaanstad mooier, veiliger en leefbaarder te maken voor iedereen.\u00a0\u00a0<br><br>Ik hoop dat mijn verhaal jonge vrouwen en mannen inspireert om iets met hun idee\u00ebn te gaan doen.
