Wij kijken naar de kansen. Een fusie met de ander groenlandelijke gemeenten Oostzaan en Landsmeer (WOL) is helaas na een zorgvuldig proces ook afgevallen. Wat D66 betreft zijn zelfstandigheid en WOL goed onderzocht en definitief geen opties meer. Dat is het eerlijke verhaal. Op dit moment worden de mogelijkheden voor een fusie met Purmerend of Zaanstad onderzocht. D66 staat positief tegenover een fusie met een van deze gemeenten. Door een bestuurlijke fusie kan Wormerland weer vooruit, zonder daarbij de eigen identiteit, de gemeenschapszin en het groen-landelijke karakter te verliezen. We blijven immers gewoon Wormerlanders, onze identiteit bepalen wij zelf. Door een bestuurlijke fusie kunnen we weer investeren, in goed onderwijs, groen, sport en cultuur. Ook kan de bereikbaarheid toenemen en wordt achterstallig onderhoud weggewerkt.<br><br>D66 heeft op voorhand geen voorkeur voor Zaanstad of Purmerend, eerst moeten beide varianten nader worden onderzocht. Wat D66 betreft hebben de inwoners een belangrijke stem in de keuze voor Purmerend of Zaanstad. Ook wordt nauw opgetrokken samen met Oostzaan.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper  wrapper__spacing-bottom-large--20  wrapper__gutter--none\"\n  >\n  \t<div class=\"wrapper__container wrapper__container-width-large--default\">\n\t  <div class=\"wrapper__inner wrapper__width-large--24 wrapper__width-mobile--24\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"block-lists  block-lists__color--black\">\n\t\t<p class=\"paragraph  paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default\">\n\t\t\t<\/p><ul class=\"block-lists lists__lists lists__weight--medium lists__color--black lists__type--default\">\n\t<li>De groenlandelijke identiteit van Wormerland en diens kernen blijft behouden.<\/li><li>Het huidige voorzieningenniveau is een minimum, de fusie leidt bij voorkeur tot een hoger voorzieningenniveau voor onze inwoners.<\/li><li>Het zwembad en de bibliotheek blijven in ieder geval open.<\/li><li>De Wijdewormer blijft groen.<\/li><li>Er komt een gemeentelijk steunpunt in Wormerland, zodat het bestuur dichtbij blijft.<\/li><li>De contactcommissies blijven behouden en er komt ook een dorpsraad voor de kern Wormer die het gemeentebestuur adviseert en gekozen is uit inwoners van Wormerland.<\/li><\/ul>\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"block-post-content__sidebar\">\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":1704,"featured_media":807,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"full-width.php","meta":{"_acf_changed":true},"search-tags":[],"themes-or-point-of-view":[25],"class_list":["post-719","manifesto","type-manifesto","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","themes-or-point-of-view-point-of-view"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>D66 Wormerland &#8212;
