In de plannen wordt de stoep 1,35 meter, terwijl in richtlijnen een breedte van 1,80 meter als norm wordt genoemd. D66 vraagt zich af of deze belangrijke looproute straks nog wel veilig en prettig te gebruiken is.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper intensief gebruikt, onder andere door bewoners van Park Oudeland die lopend naar het centrum en de supermarkt gaan. Volgens D66 moeten straten en stoepen veilig en bruikbaar zijn voor iedereen, ook voor mensen met een rollator of rolstoel, ouders met kinderwagens en ouderen die elkaar onderweg passeren.<br><br><em>\u201cEen stoep van 1,35 meter roept serieuze vragen op,\u201d<\/em> aldus raadslid Tom Boersma. <em>\u201cKunnen twee mensen elkaar daar nog veilig passeren? Wat betekent dit voor inwoners die minder mobiel zijn? En hoe voorkomen we dat mensen moeten uitwijken naar de rijbaan of het fietspad?\u201d<\/em><br><br>Ook vraagt de fractie of er wel goed is onderzocht of beide voetpaden langs de Oostdam gewoon breed genoeg kunnen blijven.
