De gemeente Weststellingwerf moet ook in haar eigen bedrijfsvoering innovatief en duurzaam handelen.<br><br>Wij vinden het belangrijk dat de participatie van oudere werknemers omhoog gaat. Mensen met kennis en ervaring zijn belangrijk in een kenniseconomie. De gemeente kan jongeren en senioren bijstaan door bijvoorbeeld initiatieven te stimuleren waarin de senior een coachende en stimulerende rol heeft en gekoppeld wordt aan een jonge starter. Wij vinden dat het meedoen in de samenleving centraal moet staan. Hierbij moet het eigen initiatief van mensen worden ondersteund en worden gestimuleerd en niet worden tegengewerkt.<br><br>Belangrijk is ook het behoud van een divers winkelaanbod in de verschillende kernen.
