D66 wil de financi\u00ebn zo snel mogelijk weer op orde krijgen, om voorzieningen op peil te houden en te kunnen investeren in de toekomst.<\/strong>\n\nD66 vindt investeren in sociale voorzieningen (zorg en ondersteuning kwetsbare mensen, onderwijsfaciliteiten, sport, cultuur en verenigingsleven) belangrijker dan prestigeprojecten van asfalt en beton. Voor zaken als een onnodige, dure brug bij Fort Isabella is dus geen ruimte meer. De gemeente mag niet alleen opdraaien voor de kosten van de verkeersoverlast door de N65: daar moeten rijk en provincie aan meebetalen.
