In de Raadsvergadering van 3 februari zijn, vrijwel unaniem, 2 moties over wonen aangenomen. De eerste motie draagt het college op een brief te schrijven naar het ministerie van volkshuisvesting met het verzoek om samen met gemeenten en VNG-instrumenten te ontwikkelen voor betaalbare huizen. De tweede motie draagt het college op om grondig te onderzoeken welke mogelijkheden onze gemeente heeft om te sturen op voldoende betaalbare woningen.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n slechts rudimentaire schetsen die er lagen, veel energie gestoken in woningbouw. De komende jaren gaat de schop daadwerkelijk de grond gaat in: er wordt gebouwd op Intratuin, Starrenburg 3 en Bijdorp. D66 raadslid Jolien Schroot: \u2018De teleurstelling en het gevoel van onmacht over de prijsstijging bij Intratuin is, terecht, groot in ons dorp. Geen enkele gemeente kan de wooncrisis zelfstandig oplossen. Om die reden wordt de brief gedeeld met andere gemeenteraden zodat zij de oproep kunnen delen. Goede samenwerking tussen Rijk, gemeenten en corporaties is noodzakelijk om de complexe opgave op te lossen en dat signaal moet luid, breed en duidelijk klinken. Alle Voorschotense fracties ondersteunden deze oproep. De VVD stemde tegen. Deze motie vraagt het college om grondig de mogelijkheden te onderzoeken die we als gemeente zelf hebben om de wooncrisis aan te pakken. D66 ziet bijvoorbeeld graag dat ten minste 25 % van het oppervlak van gemeentelijke grondposities ten goede komt aan sociale woningbouw. Er moet voldoende betaalbare woonruimte zijn in ons dorp voor de leraar, agent, schoonmaker \u00e8n hun kleinkinderen. Dit onderzoek helpt het gemeentebestuur om de best mogelijke woonvisie 2023-2027 vast te stellen. \u2018Er kunnen veel gestapelde woningen komen in ons centrum en D66 wil ook snel aan de slag om de ijsbaan te verplaatsen.
