Deze zou in april van dit jaar weer open gaan, maar het bleef erg lang stil. paragraph__align--left paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default   block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tUit de beantwoording van de raadsvragen door het college blijkt dat nu helaas ook het geval te zijn. De route gaat in ieder geval niet in april open, maar wanneer deze wel weer geopend gaat worden is niet bekend. Die onzekerheid in combinatie met de langere sluiting begint een erg vervelend dossier te worden. Zeker wanneer je bedenkt dat vooraf was beloofd dat de route helemaal niet afgesloten zou worden. D66Velsen vindt daarom dat het tijd is dat Rijkswaterstaat maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid neemt en met compenserende maatregelen komt voor de inwoners van Velsen.<br><br>De spitspont blijft minimaal behouden, maar D66Velsen vindt dat eigenlijk niet genoeg. De pont vaart namelijk sowieso, ongeacht wie deze betaald. Om de inwoners echt tegemoet te komen zouden we daarom graag zien dat Rijkswaterstaat een stapje extra zet. Al is het maar een gratis kopje koffie voor iedereen die op de pont staat te wachten. D66Velsen is in ieder geval blij dat het college onze mening deelt dat Rijkswaterstaat aanvullende compenserende maatregelen zou moeten nemen.\u00a0<br><br>Het belangrijkste is dat er snel duidelijkheid komt over de duur van de sluiting van de route.
