dossier wat D66Velsen na aan het hart gaat. Wij begrijpen de wens van enkele partijen om naar achteren te kijken in dit dossier. Hoeveel is er in omgegaan en wat is bereikt. Deze controlerende taak van de raad vindt D66Velsen uitermate belangrijk.<br><br>In dit dossier is achteruitkijken echter ook lastig. Er staat immers nog geen museum en zijn resultaten moeilijk te presenteren. Uiteindelijk ben je tot er iets staat\u00a0 aan het voorbereiden. In de afgelopen 7 jaar kostte dit ongeveer over een ton per jaar.<br><br>D66Velsen vindt het achteruitkijken ook nog eens lastig, omdat het altijd ingewikkeld is om veel resultaten te presenteren in de voorbereiding. Bij het pontplein zijn nu bijvoorbeeld ook al veel kosten gemaakt in de voorbereiding, maar zou je nu ook nog weinig resultaten kunnen laten zien. Wat niet betekent dat daar niet de juiste stappen worden gezet.<br><br>Wat die juiste stappen dan zouden zijn, is volgens D66Velsen terug te leiden uit de momenten dat de raad aan zet is geweest. Wij hebben erop gestuurd om een concept uit te werken en te gaan werken aan placemaking, oftewel het gebied en concept interessant maken. De raad mag dus verwachten van de voorbereiding dat er nu een bedrijfsplan ligt en dat ligt er.<br><br>Wat D66Velsen betreft mag er nu wel eens helderheid komen over de nieuwe locatie. PVM zit al jaren in de afgekeurde school aan de Driehuizerkerkweg zonder perspectief op een nieuwe plek. Dat kan met de ontwikkelingen van de \u00a0kustvisie te maken hebben, maar is ook zeker los te knippen van de kustvisiediscussie. Op 17de september weten we meer.
