krapte op de woningmarkt. Onder andere starters, eenverdieners en middeninkomens die een huis willen kopen of huren worden geconfronteerd met flinke prijsstijgingen waardoor het voor hen moeilijk of zelfs onmogelijk wordt gemaakt een geschikt huis te kopen of huren. Behalve het gebrek aan het aanbod aan woningen, zijn echter ook beleggingsmaatschappijen actief en maken gebruik van de woningnood door actief huizen op te kopen en te verkopen met grote winsten. Aanleiding voor D66 Veenendaal om het college hierover schriftelijke vragen te stellen.<\/strong><br><br>Fractievoorzitter Youssef Boutachekourt: \u201cWij hebben het college vragen gesteld over bijvoorbeeld hoeveel woningen en bedrijfspanden in het bezit zijn van beleggingsmaatschappen en welke woningen er de laatste jaren zijn gekocht en verkocht door beleggers. Een belangrijke vraag is ook of het college instrumenten heeft om het opkopen door beleggers tegen te gaan zoals zelfbewoningsplicht en opkoopbescherming, zodat de Veense vastgoedmarkt toegankelijk en betaalbaar blijft voor alle inwoners. En uiteraard zijn wij ook erg benieuwd naar de rol van sociale huurwoningen binnen de vastgoedmarkt in Veenendaal. Er zijn in Nederland steeds meer voorbeelden van het opkopen van volledige straten door beleggers, en we willen graag weten hoe de situatie in Veenendaal is. We willen als D66 graag dat inwoners voldoende kans hebben op een woning.
