diverse media (o.a.\u00a0NOS,\u00a0Volkskrant) over de uitkomsten van\u00a0een nieuw onderzoek van Universiteit Utrecht en het Trimbos-instituut\u00a0dat meldt dat nog maar 22 procent van de jongens van 12 tot 16 jaar een positieve houding heeft tegenover homoseksualiteit. Randvoorwaarden hiervoor zijn veiligheid en weerbaarheid: ieder van ons wil in een dorp wonen waar mensen elkaar accepteren, waar je zorgeloos over straat kunt gaan van A naar B en waar je elkaar helpt in tijden van crisis.\u2019<br><br>Dit roept de vraag op hoe dit het met de houding tegenover homoseksualiteit bij jongeren in onze gemeente is. Hoe gaat het met de acceptatie van homoseksualiteit onder jongeren in onze gemeente?<\/strong><br>Graag horen we welke ervaringen de middelbare scholen (Revius Lyceum en NXT Doorn) en lagere scholen in onze gemeente hebben. En wat de jongerenwerkers van de Sociale Dorpsteams merken.<br><br><strong>2. Hoe gaat het met voorlichting over LHBTIQA+ op lagere en middelbare scholen?<\/strong><br>In het regenboog stembusakkoord dat meerdere partijen uit de gemeenteraad hebben getekend staat: \u2018De gemeente ziet erop toe dat scholen hun wettelijke plicht nakomen om acceptatie van<br>seksuele- en genderdiversiteit te bevorderen. Onderwijsinstellingen ontvangen ondersteuning bij het bieden van voorlichting, het tegengaan van pesten en het omgaan met mogelijke weerstand.\u2019<br>Hoe gaat dit op dit moment in de praktijk en wellicht ziet het college manieren om dit verder ondersteunen.<br><br><strong>3. Welke acties wil het college inzetten om de acceptatie van homoseksualiteit onder jongeren te vergoten?<\/strong><br>Paarse Vrijdag op vrijdag 9 oktober is een gelegenheid om scholen in de gemeente die welwillend zijn te steunen en scholen die terughoudend zijn aan te moedigen om hieraan mee te doen. En kan het college die dag zelf een statement maken om LHBTIQA+ jongeren te supporten.
