Met dit amendement is vastgelegd dat de gemeente inzet op het in de toekomst uitfaseren dan wel verplaatsen en elektrificeren van de twee tankstations aan de noordzijde van Maarsbergen. De gemeenteraad heeft dit amendement met ruime meerderheid aangenomen, waarmee een duidelijke koers is uitgezet richting schonere en veiligere mobiliteit in het gebied. Deze toevoeging zorgt ervoor dat de toekomstige inrichting van het gebied aansluit bij de groei van elektrische mobiliteit en bij de wens om het centrumgebied van Maarsbergen veiliger en leefbaarder voor ons amendement heeft D66 <strong>niet ingestemd met de vaststelling van de gehele gebiedsvisie<\/strong>. Daarvoor zijn drie belangrijke redenen:<br>\u00a0<br><strong>1. Het college heeft de grondeigenaar niet proactief benaderd<\/strong><br>De grondeigenaar van de locatie bij Maarsbergen langs de A12 is door het college <strong>niet actief betrokken<\/strong> bij het opstellen van de visie. Een gesprek vond pas plaats <strong>nadat D66 hier nadrukkelijk op had aangedrongen<\/strong>. Bij een project met zoveel impact is vroegtijdige betrokkenheid essentieel.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>2. Vergunning voor een McDonald\u2019s in voorbereiding, strijdig met de toekomstige visie<\/strong><br>Het college behandelt ondertussen aan een <strong>vergunningsaanvraag voor een McDonald\u2019s<\/strong> op deze locatie. Dit staat <strong>haaks op de nog vast te stellen visie<\/strong>, die inzet op leefbaarheid, gezondheid en duurzaamheid. Het parallel voorbereiden van een tegenstrijdige ontwikkeling ondermijnt het draagvlak en de geloofwaardigheid van de visie.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>3. Geen zicht op oplossing voor monument De Grote Bloemheuvel<\/strong><br>Het rijksmonument De Grote Bloemheuvel verkeert in <strong>zeer slechte staat<\/strong>, terwijl er <strong>geen concreet perspectief of aanpak<\/strong> is opgenomen in de visie om dit waardevolle erfgoed te behouden. Voor D66 is het onacceptabel om een gebiedsvisie vast te stellen zonder zicht op behoud of herstel van zo\u2019n belangrijk monument.<br><br>Alles afwegende vinden wij dat inwoners van Maarsbergen meer hadden mogen verwachten van deze centrumvisie.
