Dit komt allemaal bij de groeiende kloof, die ik zie en waar ik zorgen over heb: de groep mensen die geen vertrouwen meer heeft in de overheid, media en wetenschap groeit. paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default   block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tAls regeringspartij is D66 medeverantwoordelijk voor het ontbreken van een langetermijnvisie. Die visie is nu harder nodig dan ooit en het ontbreken hiervan voedt de onvrede. In het bijzijn van kabinet en Tweede Kamer werd hier ingegaan op alle zichtbare en voelbare spanningen in Nederland en de kloof tussen mensen in het land en &#8221; Den Haag&#8221;, tussen de burgers en de politiek. Het thema was: &#8220;Verdragen, verzoenen en verbinden&#8221;. Alle religies en levensbeschouwelijke organisaties leverden een bijdrage. Het is terug te zien op npostart.nl en op prinsjesdagviering.nl. Het meedenken met het herstelplan voor de valwind in Leersum was een goed voorbeeld: op wat kleine discussiepunten na, ligt er een degelijk plan dat op veel draagvlak kan rekenen.<br>Ik heb ook bewondering voor onze lokale mensen in de gemeenteraden en colleges van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug en Rhenen, die ondanks alle ophef in het verre Den Haag gewoon hard aan de slag zijn. De verkiezingen liggen achter ons en idealen en coalitieakkoorden worden nu omgezet in concrete plannen en maatregelen. Die moeten er straks, samen met de andere partijen en de samenleving, voor zorgen dat onze gemeenten nog mooier en nog beter worden. We willen in onze gemeenten laten zien dat samenwerken en verder vooruitdenken wel kan. Dat luisteren wel loont.
