Het moet glashelder worden of er binnen Stichting Sophia echt iets mis is of niet. Een onafhankelijk onderzoek kan aantonen dat er niets onbehoorlijks is gebeurd. Woordvoerder cultuur Xander van Asperen: &#8220;Zware aantijgingen ten aanzien van misbruik van publiek geld verdienen volgens D66 een zwaarder middel, een zogenaamd forensisch onderzoek. Wij willen de onderste steen boven wat dat betreft. Juist om situaties als deze te voorkomen heeft D66 al eerder gepleit voor een transparanter toewijzingsbeleid van subsidiegelden.&#8221;<br><br>Wethouder Lintmeijer toonde zich tijdens de commissievergadering evenals D66 verontrust over berichten in de media over mogelijk misbruik en fraude over de subsidiegelden. Hij verzekerde daarom dat het onderzoek van de Interne Audit Afdeling van de gemeente al binnen 3 \u00e0 4 weken uitsluitsel moest geven hierover. Ook deed hij de toezegging aan D66 dat indien nodig daarna zal worden overgegaan tot een forensisch onderzoek.<br><br>Van Asperen: &#8220;het is goed dat de wethouder net als D66 openheid van zaken wenst.
