De fracties van D66 en de VVD willen dat het college maatregelen neemt om de veiligheid ter plaatse te verbeteren. <strong>Bij de fracties zijn meldingen bekend van meerdere ongevallen in de korte tijd dat deze nieuwe route in gebruik is. Vandaag hebben beide fracties <a href=\"http:\/\/d66utrecht.nlcontent\/uploads\/sites\/3\/latus\/SV_Rotonde_Grauwaertsingel-Melissekade.doc\">schriftelijke vragen<\/a> gesteld aan het we overstelpt met reacties van bewoners die klagen over de onveilige verkeerssituatie ter plaatse. Samen met D66 doen we een aantal voorstellen om de verkeersveiligheid te vergroten.\u201d<br><br>D66-raadslid Xander van Asperen: \u201cMet name voor (brom)fietsers ontstaan er regelmatig gevaarlijke situaties.
