Volgens de Democraten was dit een goede kans om bredere fietspaden aan te leggen. Dat is belangrijk voor de doorstroming en veiligheid op het Ledig Erf. verbreding van de fietspaden op het Ledig Erf wenselijk. Fokke: &#8216;Het is echt een gemiste kans voor fietsend Utrecht dat dit niet is gebeurd. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan alle wielerliefhebbers die het Ledig Erf als thuishaven hebben. Bredere fietspaden bij het Ledig Erf zijn gewoon veiliger en vriendelijker voor fietsers&#8217;.<br><br>In de herinrichting is uiteindelijk niet veel veranderd aan de verkeerssituatie voor fietsers. Fokke vraagt daarom aan het college waarom is gekozen voor deze oplossing.
