Het concept Smart City wordt gebruikt bij steden die moderne technologie\u00ebn inzetten om de stad effici\u00ebnter, veiliger, duurzamer en aangenamer te maken. Maandag organiseerde de werkgroepen Duurzaamheid en Economische zaken van D66 Utrecht een brainstormsessie over dit concept met ruim 30 Utrechtse bedrijven en stakeholders.\t<\/p>\t Greenberry. Op interactieve wijze is gekeken naar wat er in Utrecht mogelijk is op het gebied van Smart Cities en naar de rol van de politiek hierin. Kandidaat-raadslid Indra te Ronde licht toe: \u201cD66 is een partij die altijd in gesprek is met bewoners en ondernemers. Zo zien we snel waar kansen liggen, bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van duurzaamheid en economische ontwikkeling. De gemeente kan hierin het verschil maken door goed te faciliteren. Dan heb ik het niet meteen over subsidies, maar over haar rol als verbinder. Gemeente, kennisinstellingen, bedrijven \u00e9n initiatieven van bewoners gaan hierbij hand in hand. Er groeit een echte &#8216;smart culture&#8217;: een klimaat waarin bewoners en ondernemers werken aan een slim, groen en gezond Utrecht. De ruim 30 betrokken bedrijven en bewoners willen op deze manier aandacht vragen voor de ontwikkeling van Utrecht als slimme en innovatieve duurzame stad in de toekomst. D66-raadslid Arjan Kleuver: \u201cUtrecht heeft veel talentvolle en creatieve ondernemers. Die ondernemers moeten we de ruimte bieden.
