D66-raadslid Matthijs Sienot riep het college donderdag op om voor kleinschalige initiatieven een speciale competitie op te zetten. \u201cEr wordt bij duurzame plannen vaak gekeken naar de grote idee\u00ebn, naar de kopmannen. block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tDuurzame initiatieven zijn er in Utrecht genoeg, maar staan of vallen vaak met de financiering, zegt Sienot. \u201cKleinschalige duurzame initiatieven moeten daarom extra onder de aandacht worden gebracht. Dat vergroot de mogelijkheden voor succesvolle crowdfunding en adoptie ervan door bedrijven. De Tour de France is een mooi aanknopingspunt om een competitie voor dit groene peloton te organiseren. Duurzame oplossingen kunnen elkaar daardoor makkelijker vinden. Eerder dit jaar werd de D66\u2019er met dit plan als politicus met de meest duurzame idee\u00ebn door de Natuur- en Milieufederatie nog verkozen tot \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/utrecht.d66.nl\/nieuws\/d66-kandidaat-sienot-wint-groene-belofte\/\">Groene Belofte\u2019<\/a>. Sienot: \u201cIk ben blij dat ik mijn groene belofte nu ook kan inlossen.
