D66-raadslid Jony Ferket: \u201cWe hebben in Utrecht goud in handen: een prachtige stad met veel culturele activiteiten. Toch blijft het toerisme nog achter. \u2018onontdekte\u2019 stad. D66 stelt daarom voor een actieplan voor stadspromotie te maken om meer toerisme aan te trekken. Ferket: \u201cHoe zetten we Utrecht op de kaart? Wat is het verhaal? Door goede samenwerking tussen economische zaken, stadspromotie, cultuur \u00e9n onderwijs kunnen we meer toerisme aantrekken. Het Utrecht Science Park en de Dutch Game Garden zijn mooie voorbeelden van sociale en technologische innovatie. Utrecht kan zich bijvoorbeeld sterker op de kaart zetten als Smart City, als stad van slimme en duurzame groei.
