In beide wijken zijn de afgelopen maanden kerngroepen gevormd, waarin bewoners, samen met (financi\u00eble) deskundigen van de gemeente, bekijken op welke budgetten zij invloed uit kunnen oefenen. Hiermee kunnen inwoners van Utrecht zelf inzage krijgen in waar de gemeente geld aan uitgeeft in hun buurt.\u00a0Zo kunnen zij het gemeentelijk beleid kritisch volgen, controleren en met eigen idee\u00ebn komen. D66-raadslid Sanne Scholten: \u201cDe bewoners moeten inzage krijgen in waar de gemeente geld aan uitgeeft in hun eigen wijk. Dit stimuleert betrokkenheid en beloont eigen initiatief in de wijken.
