Dat heeft de wethouder toegezegd na vragen van D66. D66-raadslid Bas Meijer: \u2018Pleegzorg mag niet stoppen op het moment dat een kind meerderjarig wordt. Meijer: \u2019De wet biedt de ruimte om de zorg voor te zetten, en er is ook geld beschikbaar. Dan moeten we het ook zo makkelijk mogelijk maken om de vergoeding uit te keren. Ik ben blij dat de wethouder heeft toegezegd dit te gaan regelen. Dat maakt de pleegzorg weer wat toegankelijker\u2019<br><br>Het is belangrijk pleegkinderen zo goed mogelijk voor te bereiden op een zelfstandig en stabiel leven. Dit doe je niet door op hun achttiende in een klap alle zorg stop te zetten.
