Het duurt nog zeker anderhalf jaar voordat het openbaar vervoer richting de Uithof ontlast kan worden. Daarom wil D66 tijdens het spoeddebat weten van het college welke oplossingen er zijn voor de grote hoeveelheid reizigers. Raadslid Susanne Schilderman: \u201cD66 kiest voor de reizigers. Met een breed gesteunde motie vraag ik de wethouder te onderzoeken wat allemaal kan: een tijdelijk intercity station erbij in Utrecht,\u00a0extra leenfietsen,\u00a0of extra fietsroutes vanaf het bestuursorganen. Schilderman: \u201cDe Uithoflijn is een complex dossier. Er staan stevige aanbevelingen in het auditrapport ook voor de provincie. Om de risico\u2019s op nog meer vertraging en kosten zo klein mogelijk te houden is het belangrijk dat de aanbevelingen worden uitgevoerd.
