We staan voor belangrijke keuzes over de inrichting van het centrum. D66 wil de druk op de openbare ruimte verminderen en parkeren op straat terugdringen. De ontwikkelingen rondom de Springweg garage bieden daarvoor mogelijkheden. Utrechtse centrum. Zo wordt er besloten over een parkeervisie en een omgevingsvisie voor de binnenstad. D66 wil dat we het aantal parkeerplaatsen op straat in de binnenstad verminderen. Susanne Schilderman: \u2018Parkeren op plekken zoals de\u00a0Oudegracht\u00a0en Janskerkhof legt te veel druk op onze openbare ruimte. Op dit soort plekken wil je geen ruimte maken voor auto\u2019s, maar ruimte voor mensen. Wij zien graag een betere mix, waarbij ook ruimte is voor\u00a0fietsparkeren, deelconcepten en misschien zelfs horeca.
