Het stadsbestuur trekt daar nu bijna 1 miljoen euro voor uit. Het geld wordt onder andere gebruikt om de aansluiting op de arbeidsmarkt voor mbo\u2019ers te verbeteren. Lars\u00a0Roodenburg: \u201cD66 heeft er mede voor gezorgd dat het geld van de erfpachtregeling in wordt gezet om het woningtekort tegen te gaan. Er komt hiermee ruim 13 miljoen euro beschikbaar voor sociale- en\u00a0middenhuur!\u201d<br><br>Het college trekt ook structureel geld uit voor de verbetering van de dienstverlening aan Utrechters. Lars\u00a0Roodenburg: \u201cDoor de groei van de stad kan de gemeente de vragen van bewoners niet altijd bijbenen. Ook hebben Utrechters de behoefte om op verschillende manieren met de gemeente te communiceren. Het onderhoud aan de grachten gaat meer geld gaat kosten dan voorzien. Dit zorgt voor minder financi\u00eble ruimte dan verwacht.
