Wij hebben direct gevraagd om samen met betrokkenen naar een slimme combinatie van sport te zoeken, waaronder zeker hardlopen. paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default   block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tHet college van B&amp;W stelt een structurele bezuiniging voor op het Amaliapark, waardoor de toplaag van de atletiekbaan niet vervangen kan worden. Die toplaag op de baan zorgt ervoor dat sporters goed kunnen trainen. De plannen voor de herinrichting deden flink wat stof opwaaien bij de gebruikers en andere sportliefhebbers in de omgeving. Het is goed dat er gewerkt wordt aan een betere benutting van het sportpark, maar de bezuiniging op de baan zit een goed plan in de weg. De partijen stellen voor de bezuiniging, die vanaf 2021 zou plaatsvinden, niet door te voeren en de atletiekbaan wel van een nieuwe toplaag te voorzien.<br><br>Tijdens de begrotingsbehandeling dient het CDA hier een voorstel voor in dat gesteund wordt door D66, PvdA, GroenLinks, ChristenUnie en VVD. Het voorstel zorgt ervoor dat de bezuiniging van \u20ac65.000,- per jaar niet nodig is. Een slimme en veilige combinatie van atletiek met andere en nieuwe vormen van sport is daarbij goed mogelijk.
