Uit het recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trimbos.nl\/actueel\/nieuws\/acceptatie-homoseksualiteit-sterk-afgenomen-onder-jongeren-in-nederland\/?\">onderzoek van het Trimbos-instituut <\/a>en de Universiteit Utrecht blijkt dat in het voortgezet onderwijs nog maar 22 procent van de jongens positief tegenover homoseksualiteit staat. In 2021 was dit nog 40 procent. Ook onder meisjes is sprake van een sterke daling: van 78 procent in 2021 naar 51 procent in 2025.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper school open kunnen zijn over hun seksuele ori\u00ebntatie sterk gedaald. In 2021 dacht nog 60 procent van de leerlingen dat dit mogelijk was, tegenover 45 procent in 2025. Een GSA bestaat uit leerlingen of studenten die zich binnen hun school inzetten voor een veiligere en inclusievere schoolomgeving. <a href=\"https:\/\/onderwijs.coc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Handleiding-VoorbereidingLesbrievenVO2024.pdf?\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/onderwijs.coc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Handleiding-VoorbereidingLesbrievenVO2024.pdf?\/\">Onderzoek<\/a> laat zien dat leerlingen op scholen met een GSA minder vaak te maken krijgen met pesten, een veiliger schoolklimaat ervaren en zich psychologisch beter voelen. Daarbij blijken GSA\u2019s vooral effectief op scholen waar ook breder aandacht wordt besteed aan het tegengaan van pesten en het bevorderen van sociale veiligheid.<br><br>De landelijke daling in acceptatie roept de vraag op hoe Tilburgse middelbare scholen en mbo instellingen omgaan met LHBTIQ+ acceptatie en sociale veiligheid.
