Er is op dit moment beperkte inzet op bouw in de hoogte, terwijl daar met oog op ruimtegebruik, bouwkosten en woonwensen in Steenwijkerland wel kansen liggen. Geen flats van tien verdiepingen, maar passend in de omgeving van bijvoorbeeld vier \u00e0 vijf lagen, met ruimte voor groen eromheen. We zouden dit graag in de nieuwe woonagenda op laten nemen. \t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper  wrapper__spacing-bottom-large--20 Het college schrijft het zelf: het tempo moet omhoog. Na acht jaar aan het roer is dat nog steeds te laag.  <br><br>Dat vraagt om anders denken. Niet alleen uitbreiden, maar herontwikkelen. Kijk naar het Steenwijkerdiep: nieuwe supermarkten, maar geen woningen erboven en parkeren op straat: een gemiste kans. Die moeten we slimmer gebruiken, ook in de hoogte. Geen flats van tien verdiepingen, maar passende in de omgeving van bijvoorbeeld vier \u00e0 vijf lagen, met ruimte voor groen eromheen. Locaties als het Avanty-pand, de oude Fordgarage en de PLUS verdienen zo\u2019n toekomstgerichte aanpak.<br><br>Daarom dienen we vandaag de motie \u201cHoogbouw in Steenwijkerland\u201d in met steun van VVD, CDA, Veur Elkaar, GroenLinks-PvdA.
