De herinrichting bood een kans om er een veiliger en overzichtelijker gebied van te maken, vooral voor fietsers en voetgangers. In de praktijk zien we echter dat automobilisten met hun rijgedrag de nieuwe inrichting ondermijnen. Daarom heeft D66 Rotterdam tijdens de afgelopen raadsvergadering een motie ingediend om ervoor te zorgen dat de verkeersveiligheid op het Kruisplein \u00e9cht verbetert.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n gras. Helaas negeren veel automobilisten de verkeersregels en rijden ze door het gebied waar dat niet is toegestaan. Dit zorgt voor onveilige situaties en frustratie bij mensen die zich w\u00e9l aan de regels houden. Rotterdam moet een stad zijn waar voetgangers en fietsers zich veilig en vrij kunnen bewegen.<br><br>Om dit probleem aan te pakken, heeft D66 Rotterdam een motie ingediend waarin het college wordt gevraagd om op korte termijn aanvullende maatregelen te nemen die ervoor zorgen dat auto&#8217;s niet op het voet- en fietspad van het Kruisplein kunnen rijden. De motie werd met een ruime meerderheid aangenomen.
