Bijvoorbeeld door de aanleg van tweebaansfietspaden, snelfietspaden en duidelijke bewegwijzering. Drukke autowegen, weinig overzicht en onvoldoende ruimte voor de fietser en voetganger behoren dus snel tot het verleden. \u201cDe fietser moet echt first komen. block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tHet college wil het gebruik van de fiets stimuleren, daarom wordt de stad autoluwer en komt er meer ruimte voor de fietser. Hardstikke goed, want fietsmobiliteit is een effici\u00ebnte en milieuvriendelijke vorm van vervoer die zorgt voor het verminderen van files,<br>luchtvervuiling en CO\u2082-uitstoot. Maar, om meer Rotterdammers op de fiets te krijgen, moet je het hen wel makkelijk maken. Chaotische en onveilige situaties die zich voordoen in fietsknelpunten, passen daar niet bij. Bewoners maken zich zorgen om de knelpunten zoals<br>rondom de Willemsbrug, Kleinpolderplein, Piekstraat en de Erasmusbrug. Ook willen we dat bij de selectie van de fietsknelpunten de wijkraden om advies worden gevraagd en de door hen aangedragen oplossingsrichtingen<br>mee worden genomen in de aanpak. Volgend jaar wordt hier \u20ac 500.000 voor vrijgemaakt. Daarnaast wordt er in de toekomstige begrotingen jaarlijks geld vrijgemaakt om de aanpak<br>voort te zetten. Zo maken we Rotterdam een stuk fietsvriendelijker en veiliger. Op 9 november jl. is de motie aangenomen.
