Doel van dat akkoord is het permanent verbeteren van de luchtkwaliteit in Nederland. Al jaren wordt onderzocht of ook de gemeente Renkum dat akkoord zou moeten tekenen. De fractie van D66 Renkum wilde niet langer wachten en is van mening dat het akkoord zo snel moet worden ondertekend. Bij de algemene beschouwingen verwoordde fractievoor-zitter <a href=\"https:\/\/d66.nl\/renkum\/mensen\/fedor-cuppen\/\">Fedor Cuppen<\/a> dat als volgt:<br>\u00a0<br>\u201cD66 Renkum staat voor een samenleving die rekening houdt met de volgende generaties. Dus wat als we n\u00fa de juiste, toekomstbestendige keuzes eens gaan maken? Wat als we n\u00fa met lef gaan handelen overeenkomstig de urgentie die er is om de grote problemen die er zijn aan te pakken en ten goede te veranderen? Wat als we n\u00fa de moed tonen om het eerlijke verhaal te vertellen en thema\u2019s waar we het liefst een beetje omheen lopen nu eens met voorrang gaan aanpakken? In de begroting wordt als doel gesteld: het realiseren van een leefomgeving van hoge kwaliteit. Die opgave, ook voor de woning-bouw, is omvangrijk en veel maatregelen van \u00a0\u00a0de grote transitieopgaven zoals klimaat,\u00a0energie, stikstof en mobiliteit, gaan hand in hand met gezondere lucht. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlasleefomgeving.nl\/actuele-luchtkwaliteitsindex-lki-in-nederland-rivm\">De luchtkwaliteit in de gemeente Renkum is matig<\/a> en D66 snapt dan ook niks van het getreuzel van het college om toe te treden tot het Schone Lucht Akkoord. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In de begroting staat dat u dit w\u00e9\u00e9r gaat onder-zoeken in 2023. Dat zegt u al 4\u00bd jaar op meer-maals vragen van D66, zowel tijdens de raad als in antwoord op schriftelijke vragen. <a href=\"https:\/\/ggdgelderlandzuid.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Luchtkwaliteit-in-Gelderland-2019.pdf\">De gemeente Wageningen, Ede, Rheden en Arnhem<\/a> zijn al deelnemer van dit akkoord. Wij zijn nog een witte vlek tussen deze gemeenten. De deelnemers van het Schone Lucht Akkoord delen kennis en\u00a0helpen elkaar, zodat onze gemeente niet alleen het wiel hoeft uit te vinden. Meld ons aan bij het Schone Lucht Akkoord en ga aan de gang met deze omvangrijke en urgente opgave om te komen tot een leefomgeving van hoge kwaliteit. Wat moet u nog onderzoeken? Wat houdt u tegen? Met het <a href=\"https:\/\/raad.renkum.nl\/Vergaderingen\/Gemeenteraad\/2022\/31-oktober\/20:00\/Begroting-2023\/BEGROTING-amendement-D66-Renkum-sluit-zich-aan-bij-het-Schone-Lucht-Akkoord-AANGENOMEN-1.pdf\">amendement \u2018Renkum sluit zich aan bij het Schone Lucht akkoord\u2019<\/a> willen we het laatste kleine duwtje geven om Renkum deze stap nu ook eens echt te laten zetten.\u201d<br><br>Het genoemde amendement, zoals dat door <a href=\"https:\/\/d66.nl\/renkum\/mensen\/hanneke-mijnhart\/\">Hanneke Mijnhart<\/a> is opgesteld, werd vervolgens besproken en leidde in de raad tot enige discussie. <a href=\"https:\/\/59af87d3036de.streamlock.net\/vod\/_definst_\/renkum_1\/2022-11-02-14-49-49-Gemeenteraad_1.mp4\/playlist.m3u8?wowzatokenendtime=1667505912&amp;wowzatokenhash=p3TEYlMBPPQUpmenlv-QJEqmPF44aCpyMv60YC7uiSc=&amp;wowzaplaystart=15572000&amp;wowzaplayduration=5032000\">Dat is hier terug te zien<\/a>. Het amendement werd door de fractie in stemming gebracht en door de raad aangenomen. De wethouder gaf aan in 2023 in gang te gaan zetten dat ook de gemeente Renkum het Schone Lucht Akkoord zal ondertekenen.
