Aanleiding is een memo van het college waarin wordt voorgesteld de huren op verschillende tijdelijke woonlocaties te verhogen.<br><br>D66 begrijpt dat tijdelijke woonlocaties financieel verantwoord moeten worden ge\u00ebxploiteerd, maar vindt het belangrijk dat ook de gevolgen voor bewoners zorgvuldig worden meegewogen.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\t<strong>Wat betekent dit voor huurders?<br><\/strong>Uit de memo blijkt dat de voorgestelde huurverhogingen kunnen oplopen tot ongeveer 15% tot 23%. D66 wil daarom beter inzicht krijgen in de gevolgen voor bewoners, met name voor huishoudens met een laag inkomen.<br><br>Commissielid Mireille Frerejean:<br>\u201cBetaalbaar wonen stopt niet bij de voordeur van een tijdelijke woning. Juist voor mensen met een beperkt inkomen moeten we goed in beeld hebben wat een huurverhoging betekent voor hun maandelijkse lasten.\u201d<br><br>D66 heeft het college gevraagd om inzichtelijk te maken wat de gevolgen zijn voor de koopkracht van bewoners, bijvoorbeeld voor huishoudens die afhankelijk zijn van een bijstandsuitkering. Daarbij wil de fractie ook weten welke rol huurtoeslag en andere compensatiemogelijkheden spelen.<br><br><strong>Is maatwerk mogelijk?<br><\/strong>Naast de financi\u00eble gevolgen vraagt D66 aandacht voor maatwerk. De fractie wil weten of een huurverhoging van deze omvang in alle gevallen noodzakelijk is, of dat er ruimte bestaat om rekening te houden met individuele omstandigheden.<br><br>Daarbij wordt onder andere gekeken naar bewoners met een laag inkomen die mogelijk gebruikmaken van gemeentelijke regelingen, zoals de PurmerendPas.<br><br><strong>Financieel houdbaar \u00e9n betaalbaar<br><\/strong>Uit de memo blijkt dat de betreffende woonlocaties de afgelopen jaren verlieslatend zijn geweest. D66 wil daarom ook weten of de voorgestelde huurverhoging voldoende is om de exploitatie financieel gezonder te maken en welke uitgangspunten aan het voorstel ten grondslag liggen.<br><br>Volgens Mireille Frerejean moeten financi\u00eble haalbaarheid en betaalbaarheid hand in hand gaan.<br>\u201cTijdelijke woningen spelen een belangrijke rol in het aanpakken van de woningnood. Juist daarom moeten we ervoor zorgen dat deze woningen niet alleen beschikbaar zijn, maar ook betaalbaar blijven voor de mensen waarvoor ze bedoeld zijn.\u201d<br><br><strong>Inzicht in effecten<br><\/strong>Tot slot vraagt D66 hoe de gemeente de gevolgen van de huurverhoging gaat monitoren.
