Zichtbare handhaving draagt bij aan een veilig gevoel. We zetten daarom in op voldoende en aanspreekbare handhavers in onze stad, wijken en dorpen.<br><br>Veiligheid gaat ook over vrijheid. Iedereen moet zich vrij en veilig kunnen voelen in de openbare ruimte, op straat, op de fiets en \u2019s avonds laat. Preventie, goede dynamische verlichting en aandacht voor sociale veiligheid zijn daarbij minstens zo belangrijk als handhaving.<br><br>We kiezen voor mensen in de wijk boven grootschalige cameratoezichtsystemen. Veiligheid werkt het best als inwoners elkaar kennen en aanspreken.<br><br>Cyberveiligheid krijgt prioriteit, zodat scholen, ondernemers en inwoners beschermd zijn tegen digitale risico\u2019s. Inwoners blijven altijd baas over hun eigen gegevens \u2014 transparant, veilig en controleerbaar.<br><br>Hygi\u00ebne op straat heeft aandacht nodig om een gezonde en leefbare omgeving te behouden. Wij willen voldoende vuilnisbakken in kernen en wijken en duidelijk beleid om onze omgeving schoon en leefbaar te houden. Vervuilers moeten strenger worden aangepakt.<br><br>Er is in Ommen behoefte aan een geactualiseerd hondenbeleid.
