Momenteel is het aanbod van betaalbare koop- en huurwoningen voor starters, doorstromers en ouderen echter veel te laag. Er zit ook een verschil tussen de bestaande woningvoorraad en huidige woonwensen. Dit komt door vergrijzing en kleiner wordende huishoudens (meer eenpersoonshuishoudens). Daardoor wonen we als Nederlanders &#8211; met ons vermeende tekort aan ruimte \u2013 groter en ruimer dan omringende landen (in m2 woonoppervlak per bewoner). Verder is 90% van onze woningvoorraad grondgebonden. Het gaat dan vooral om vrijstaande huizen en twee-onder-een-kappers. Bij dit soort huizen gaat een enorm overaanbod ontstaan door de vergrijzing en de toename van eenpersoonshuishoudens.<br><br>Terwijl de gemeente een evenwichtige woningmix ambieert, focussen<br>projectontwikkelaars zich vooral op het dure segment (vrijstaand en twee-onder-een-kap). Starterswoningen van \u20ac400.000,- of meer zijn voor de lokale jeugd onbereikbaar. Wat we dus moeten toevoegen zijn woningen die zijn gericht op kleine huishoudens (starters, eenpersoonshuishoudens, senioren). Woningen die zo mogelijk ook nog modulair en circulair uit te breiden zijn, maar ook weer kleiner te maken zijn. Afhankelijk van de gezins- en levenssituatie. We kunnen hier meteen op maat en passend voor ieder dorp en ook zelfs het buitengebied mee beginnen. Dit kan door het splitsen van woningen<br>in zowel buitengebied als in dorpen makkelijker te maken. Ook kunnen we kijken waar er een woonlaag bij kan (optoppen) en waar inbreiding (bouwen binnen de bebouwde kom) mogelijk is. Deze bouwwijze is belangrijk voor de toekomst en nog volop in<br>ontwikkeling.<\/li><li>Lokale Economie: Bij voorkeur worden Losserse ondernemers betrokken bij de bouw, mits zij kunnen voldoen aan de eisen voor duurzaamheid en modulariteit.<\/li><li>Levensloopbestendig: Woningen die geschikt zijn voor iedere levensfase, van jeugd tot ouder, waardoor verhuizen binnen het eigen dorp makkelijker wordt.<\/li><li>Biobased bouwen stimuleren: Biobased bouwen zorgt voor een gezondere leefomgeving en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het halen van klimaatdoelen.
