block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tIn het VVD-persbericht staat ook dat de VVD \u2018al sinds 2023 herhaaldelijk de risico\u2019s van het oplopende tekort heeft benoemd.\u2019 Ferme taal, maar klopt het ook?<br>We pakken de door de VVD opgestelde motie van 14 november 2022 er even bij. In deze motie pleit de VVD voor een lastenverlichting voor de huizenbezitters van Lochem; de OZB moet met 5% omlaag. De motie wordt aangenomen, met als gevolg minder inkomsten voor de gemeente vanaf 2023.<br><br>De OZB was eerder in 2020, juist met 5% verhoogd. Dit om, zoals in 2020 werd beargumenteerd, \u2018belangrijke dingen, zoals zorg\/huishoudelijke hulp, zwembaden, dorpshuizen, economisch beleid in stand te houden\u2019.<br>Niet nodig, stelt de VVD in de motie voor lastenverlaging, want \u2018van financi\u00eble krapte is geen sprake\u2019. Hij geeft aan dat extra geld nodig is voor scholenbouw en nieuwe zwembaden. Hij zegt: \u2018We gaan in de problemen komen\u2019 door minder geld op te halen via de OZB. Wat Van Zeijts zich bovendien afvraagt of de begroting nog sluitend is.\u00a0 Oh, reageert de VVD laconiek, dat geld kan gewoon \u2018binnen de begroting worden gezocht\u2019 of \u2018vanuit de algemene middelen\u2019.<br>De OZB in Lochem werd begin 2023 inderdaad met 5 % verlaagd, met als gevolg minder inkomsten voor de gemeente. De VVD-motie werd aangenomen met steun van PvdA, CDA, Gemeentebelangen en Meedenken met Lochem. Geen woord over de lichtzinnige lastenverlichting die de VVD begin 2023 nog invoerde. De wijsheid van ex-wethouder Van Zeijts wordt node gemist.<br>De VVD presenteert zich nu als hoeder van het huishoudboekje van de gemeente. Daar is niks mis mee, maar het past de VVD Lochem niet om met grote woorden andere de maat te meten. Je kan van inzicht verschillen, maar roep niet dat het college waar je zelf deel vanuit maakt &#8216;onfatsoenlijk&#8217; is, alleen omdat de wethouder van financi\u00ebn een ander koers wil varen. <br><br>D66 ziet geen \u2018dappere\u2019 VVD, wel een wispelturige partij; kort van memorie, met weinig zelfkritisch vermogen.<br>Niet een \u2018dappere\u2019 maar een \u2018wapperende\u2019 partij.
