Dat besef lijkt in &#8216;Den Haag&#8217; te verdwijnen, met als dreigend gevaar: afbraak van essenti\u00eble  lokale voorzieningen. Daarom stuurde D66 Lochem onderstaande brief aan Tweede Kamerlid Nijhof-Leeuw, ooit raadslid in Hengelo. U was dat zelf ook, in de gemeente Hengelo. U bent door uw partij geselecteerd om u in de Tweede Kamer namens uw partij in te zetten om idealen te verwezenlijken. Maar u kunt zich vast nog wel herinneren hoe u zich in de raad van uw gemeente gedreven inzette voor uw inwoners. Dat was voor elke partij anders, dat spreekt voor zich. Wat er altijd al nodig was om het beste voor de inwoners, de gemeente en uw idealen voor elkaar te krijgen, was geld. Als u niet ingrijpt, worden gemeenten vanaf 2026 structureel met \u20ac 2,3 miljard gekort door het Rijk. Vanaf 2026 betekent dat, dat gemeenten moeten gaan bezuinigen. Hierdoor worden voorzieningen afgebroken. Stelt u zich eens voor hoeveel zwembaden of andere sportaccommodaties zullen worden gesloten. Stelt u zich eens voor hoe de openbare ruimte van Nederland zal verpauperen en onveiliger zal worden. Stelt u zich eens voor hoeveel inwoners van Nederland niet kunnen worden geholpen om uit armoede en\/of (geestelijke) gezondheidsproblemen te komen en te blijven. Dit zijn slechts een paar voorbeelden. Echter, zulke grote bezuinigingen op gemeenteniveau hebben enorme negatieve impact op onder andere de leefbaarheid, veiligheid en (geestelijke) gezondheid van onze inwoners.\u00a0\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"block-post-content__sidebar\">\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper  wrapper__spacing-bottom-large--50 wrapper__spacing-bottom-desktop--70 wrapper__spacing-bottom-mobile--50  wrapper__gutter--none\"\n  >\n  \t<div class=\"wrapper__container wrapper__container-width-large--default\">\n\t  <div class=\"wrapper__inner wrapper__width-large--18 wrapper__width-desktop--22 wrapper__width-mobile--24 wrapper__offset-large--6 wrapper__offset-desktop--2 wrapper__offset-mobile--0\">\n\t\t<section class=\"block-post-content\">\n\t<div class=\"block-post-content__title\">\n\t\t<h3 class=\"heading  heading__color--black heading__size--medium heading__font--sans heading__weight--bold  block-post-content__heading\" id=\"nav-decentralisatie2839\" data-nav-heading-mobile=\"Decentralisatie\">\n\tDecentralisatie<\/h3>\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"block-post-content__content\">\n\t\t\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper  wrapper__spacing-bottom-large--30 wrapper__spacing-bottom-desktop--20  wrapper__gutter--none\"\n  >\n  \t<div class=\"wrapper__container wrapper__container-width-large--default\">\n\t  <div class=\"wrapper__inner wrapper__width-large--24 wrapper__width-mobile--24\">\n\t\t<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph paragraph__align--left paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default   block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tIn de afgelopen jaren zijn er veel nieuwe taken op gemeenten afgekomen. De decentralisatie van de zorg naar gemeenten is daarvan de grootste. Het werk voor ons als raadslid is ingewikkelder en zwaarder geworden. Wij nemen een steeds meer uitdijend takenpakket op ons. Dat lukt ook, maar daarvoor hebben we wel voldoende middelen nodig. Met \u20ac 2,3 miljard minder ontstaat een onhoudbare situatie. Hiermee kunnen we onze taken niet meer uitvoeren.<br>Wij vragen u daarom om nog eens bij uzelf te rade te gaan. En terug te gaan naar de tijd dat u zelf gemeenteraadslid was en streed voor Hengelo en de inwoners. Wij vragen u om voor ons te strijden, zodat wij ons werk kunnen blijven doen en daarmee onze inwoners voor hele vervelende bezuinigingen te behoeden. Wij vragen u om ervoor te zorgen dat onze gemeenten niet getroffen worden door een heel forse bezuiniging van \u20ac 2,3 miljard per jaar. Bespreek het in uw fractie, draag het uit in de Algemene Politieke Beschouwingen, breng het ter sprake in de vaste Kamercommissie waaraan u deelneemt.\u00a0<br><br><strong>Wij kunnen deze bezuiniging niet aan!<br><\/strong><br>Wij danken u dat u ons verzoek hebt gelezen. En wij zijn u nog veel meer dankbaar als het u gaat lukken om de bezuiniging op gemeenten van \u20ac 2,3 miljard per jaar van tafel te krijgen.
