Ik ben hier ooit naartoe gekomen als student om Commerci\u00eble Economie te studeren. In die periode ontdekte ik hoe sterk mijn interesse in politiek is, waardoor ik mij heb aangesloten bij D66.<br><br>Inmiddels ben ik commissielid voor de Provinciale Staten en voorzitter van de Jonge Democraten Frysl\u00e2n. Vanuit die rollen zet ik mij met veel plezier in voor een sociaal liberale wereld. Ik wil de gemeenteraad in omdat ik geloof in een sociaal-liberale samenleving waarin iedereen de kans krijgt om vooruit te komen. In Leeuwarden zie ik hoe belangrijk het is om ongelijkheid actief aan te pakken en nieuwe mogelijkheden te cre\u00ebren voor iedereen. <br><br>Voor mij betekent dat investeren in eerlijke kansen op de arbeidsmarkt, in het onderwijs en op de woningmarkt. Ik wil niet vanaf de zijlijn toekijken, maar meewerken aan een gemeente<br>waar iedereen zich vrij kan voelen.
