Dit voorstel kon rekenen op raadsbrede steun, maar roept logischerwijs de vraag op waarom de gemeente Lansingerland zijn aandelen in Eneco verkoopt, maar juist aandelen bijkoopt in Stedin. De fractie van D66 Lansingerland vindt het belangrijk om goed uit te leggen waarom.<\/strong>\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tIn tegenstelling tot Eneco, wat een aanbieder is van energie, is Stedin de regionale netbeheerder en heeft het wettelijk alleenrecht op het beheer van de elektriciteitskabels in onze regio. Tot een aantal jaar geleden waren Eneco en Stedin \u00e9\u00e9n bedrijf, maar dit bedrijf is om wettelijke redenen opgesplitst. Sindsdien beheert Stedin het energienetwerk en is Eneco \u00e9\u00e9n van de aanbieders van energie op het netwerk van Stedin. Voor de verkoop van Eneco, opereerde de gemeente Lansingerland eigenlijk met publiek geld op de commerci\u00eble markt, met alle risico\u2019s van dien. De verkoop van de aandelen in Eneco zorgde ervoor dat het dividend wegviel, maar aan dit dividend waren dus grote risico\u2019s verbonden. De uitgaven stijgen en de inkomsten blijven achter, terwijl er vele tientallen miljoenen in de schatkist van de gemeente alleen maar minder waard worden door inflatie.
