D66 is blij dat na jaren van uitstel en oplopende kosten er nu eindelijk een eerlijke prijs betaald gaat worden voor afval.<\/strong><br>\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tAl enkele jaren wordt er in Lansingerland gesproken over de afvalstoffenheffing. Het scheidingspercentage ligt simpelweg te laag (iets boven de 50%) en er wordt nog steeds dubbel zoveel restafval ingezameld dan het nationale doel is. Al jaren is dit de grootste oorzaak van de <a href=\"https:\/\/d66.nl\/lansingerland\/nieuws\/koers-moet-duurzamer\/\">stijgende lokale lasten<\/a> en benadeeld dit vooral alle inwoners die goed hun best doen om minder restafval te cre\u00ebren. Begin vorig jaar is uiteindelijk een nieuw beleid geformuleerd met als uitgangspunt \u2018de vervuiler betaalt\u2019 en vanaf 2023 gaan de nieuwe tarieven in. Dit uitgangspunt kreeg niet alleen politiek steun, maar ook van veel inwoners. Voorheen betaalde ieder huishouden hetzelfde bedrag (huishoudens met maar \u00e9\u00e9n persoon iets minder). Dit betekende in feite dat sommige inwoners, die veel kostten maakten voor het milieu en de gemeente door veel restafval aan te bieden, een veel te lage prijs betaalden. Andere inwoners, die veel minder restafval aan boden, draaiden op voor de hoge kosten van anderen. D66 heeft dit systeem nooit fair gevonden en pleit daarom al jaren voor een eerlijke prijs voor afval.\u00a0<br>Met ingang van 2023 betalen alle huishoudens een vast jaarlijks bedrag voor het ophalen van GFT, oud papier en PMD en de andere afval services. Alleen voor restafval betaal je nu een los bedrag per aanbieding. De hoogte van dit bedrag is afhankelijk van het formaat van de kliko of ondergrondse container. De meeste waren constructief van aard, al probeerden sommige partijen voor de b\u00fchne te scoren over beleid wat al ruim anderhalf jaar geleden is vastgelegd.
