Dat wil ik voor de toekomst zo behouden en zelfs verbeteren. De steeds vaker van buiten Heusden komende invloeden op onze leefomgeving\u00a0 en -omstandigheden zijn veelal ook complexer van aard. Ik voel met u meer dan ooit de noodzaak om hier iets aan te doen.<br>Tegen de verwoestende effecten van de opwarming van de aarde kunnen we vechten door een energietransitie naar duurzame energie. Maar dan wel op een manier waar wij Heusdenaren ook van zullen profiteren. Heusden wordt nog prettiger om in te wonen wanneer het verkeer veiliger wordt en Heusden socialer en gezonder wordt. Ik zal mij ook inzetten voor een cultuurrijk Heusden. Cultuur, in al haar vormen, levert een grote bijdrage aan de kwaliteit van ons leven. Ik ben er trots op lid te zijn van D66. Een partij die zich niet alleen richt op vandaag maar juist ook is gericht op de toekomst.
