\n\tBegin juni was D66 aanwezig bij het ALDE Congres in Dublin, Ierland. Na twee jaar zonder fysiek congres, was het goed om elkaar weer te zien en levendige debatten te voeren over de toekomst van de ALDE Party. <\/h3>\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n \t

\n\t\t\n\t\tTijdens het congres werden er debatten gevoerd over de belangrijkste uitdagingen van onze tijd. Onderwerpen die de revue passeerden waren; de toekomst van de Europese energievoorziening, de impact van de oorlog in Oekra\u00efne en EU-uitbreiding. Met de Europese verkiezingen van 2024 in zicht werd de koers van de partij besproken.\t<\/p>\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

\n\tBestuursverkiezingen <\/h3>\t<\/div>\n\t

\n\t
\n\t\t\n\t\tTijdens het congres stonden de bestuursverkiezingen op de agenda. Graag feliciteren wij het nieuwe bestuur<\/a> met hun (her)verkiezing. Aankomende twee jaar zijn Ilhan Kyuchyuk (MRF, Bulgarije) en Timmy Dooley (Fianna F\u00e1il, Ierland) de voorzitters van de ALDE Party. Namens D66 was Annelou van Egmond kandidaat voor een nieuwe termijn als Vice-President. Een succesvolle campagne op het congres resulteerde in\u00a0verkiezingswinst<\/a>. We feliciteren Annelou met haar succesvolle verkiezing. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat zij het progressieve geluid van D66 helder laat horen in het ALDE Bestuur.\t<\/p>\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

\n\tDublin Diversity Declaration <\/h3>\t<\/div>\n\t

\n\t\t\n\t\tTijdens het congres hebben 34 partijen de Dublin Diversity Declaration<\/a> ondertekend. Deze verklaring pleit voor meer LHBTQ+ vertegenwoordiging in de politiek. Namens D66 ondertekenden Alexander Hammelburg, Tjeerd Dierxcksens en Martine van Schoor de DDD. We zijn tevreden met deze belangrijke stap en kijken uit naar meer LHBTQ+ vertegenwoordiging in Europa.\u00a0\t<\/p>\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
