De klachten zijn duidelijk: het wegdek tussen de Woestijnestraat en de rotonde Zeegat is in slechte staat en wateroverlast regelmatig voor kopzorgen. D66 Hulst heeft deze signalen meermaals overgebracht en aangedrongen op een structurele oplossing.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div\n  id=\"\"\n  class=\"wrapper verbetering. In samenwerking met Evides, die de waterleidingen aanpakt, zal de gemeente in de periode 2027-2028 de riolering volledig vervangen en de weg opnieuw inrichten.<br><br><strong>Onze inzet: Veilig en toegankelijk<\/strong><br>Voor D66 Hulst is dit d\u00e9 kans om de \u2019s-Gravenstraat niet alleen te repareren, maar echt te verbeteren. Wij kijken met een kritische blik naar de nieuwe inrichting:<br><br><strong>Weg met de &#8216;racebaan&#8217;:<\/strong><br>De huidige verspringing werkt niet optimaal. Bij drukte loopt het vast, maar als het rustig is, nodigt de weg uit tot te hard rijden. Wij pleiten voor een ontwerp dat de snelheid er op een natuurlijke en veilige manier uithaalt. Veiliger voor fietsers.<br><br><strong>Toegankelijkheid voor iedereen:<\/strong><br>Een moderne weg betekent ook moderne voorzieningen. Wij zetten in op bushaltes die voor iedereen goed toegankelijk zijn, ook voor minder mobiele inwoners of slecht zienden.<br><br><strong>Klimaatbestendig:<\/strong><br>Door de riolering aan te pakken lossen we de wateroverlast in deze straat structureel op. Zo leggen we een gescheiden riool aan en gebruiken we technieken om het regenwater deels direct te infiltreren in de bodem.<br><br>Verkeersveiligheid en een fijne leefomgeving in Clinge staan voor ons voorop.
