Tweede Kamerlid <strong>Jan Schoonis<\/strong> bracht een werkbezoek aan Hulst om met eigen ogen te zien wat er speelt in onze gemeente. Voor Schoonis was het bezoek bovendien een stukje thuiskomen; als geboren en getogen Zeeuws-Vlaming uit Sas van Gent kent hij de regio als geen ander.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n de rest van de Delta<\/strong><br>Het bezoek aan Hulst was de start van een bredere ronde door de regio, waarbij hij later op de dag doorreisde naar Terneuzen. Juist die lokale aanwezigheid is van groot belang om de Zeeuws-Vlaamse belangen stevig op de kaart te zetten in de Tweede Kamer.<br>Focus op de inhoud: Portefeuilles in de praktijk<br>Tijdens het bezoek stonden de thema\u2019s uit de portefeuille van Schoonis centraal. In een informele setting was er volop ruimte om dieper in te gaan op de dagelijkse beslommeringen in onze grensstreek.<br>Het was een waardevolle gelegenheid om de specifieke issues waar wij in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen tegenaan lopen \u2014 van grensoverschrijdende samenwerking tot mobiliteit \u2014 direct mee te geven aan een volksvertegenwoordiger die de taal van de regio spreekt. We kijken terug op een constructieve dag en blijven nauw in contact om de Zeeuwse stem in Den Haag te laten horen.
