Volgens fractievoorzitter Pieter de Bruijn moet de gemeente niet alleen de intentie uitspreken om inclusiever te worden, maar daar ook daadwerkelijk naar handelen.\t<\/p>\t  <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n paragraph__align--left paragraph__color--black paragraph__size--default   block-paragraph__paragraph\"\n\t\t\t>\n\t\tDe Inclusieagenda vormt de basis voor een gemeente waarin iedereen kan meedoen, ongeacht achtergrond, beperking of geaardheid. D66 Hulst vond de oorspronkelijke tekst echter te vrijblijvend en stelde daarom een reeks tekstuele en inhoudelijke wijzigingen voor om het ambitieniveau te verhogen.<br><br><strong>Van &#8216;streven naar&#8217; naar &#8216;zijn&#8217;<\/strong><br>Een belangrijk onderdeel van het amendement is het vervangen van passieve taal door actieve doelen. Waar de oorspronkelijke agenda sprak over het &#8220;streven naar&#8221; een inclusieve overheid of een gemeente zonder discriminatie, stelt D66 dat we de lat hoger moeten leggen.<br><br>De voorgestelde wijzigingen houden onder andere in:<br><strong>1. Gelijke kansen voorop:<\/strong> De focus verschuift van het faciliteren van voorzieningen naar het bieden van een gelijke kans voor iedere inwoner om mee te doen in de maatschappij.<br>2. <strong>Betrokkenheid ervaringsdeskundigen:<\/strong> Bij de uitvoering van de ambities moeten ervaringsdeskundigen direct betrokken worden, zodat beleid aansluit op de praktijk.<br>3. <strong>Diverse organisatie:<\/strong> De gemeente moet niet alleen streven naar diversiteit, maar zorgen dat dit weerspiegeld wordt in alle lagen van de eigen organisatie.<br><br><strong>Preventie van discriminatie<\/strong><br>Daarnaast vraagt D66 om een krachtigere aanpak van discriminatie. In plaats van enkel hulp te bieden nadat er gediscrimineerd is, wil de partij dat de gemeente de nadruk legt op het voorkomen van discriminatie.<br><br><strong>Proactieve hulp in het sociaal domein<\/strong><br>Tot slot richt het amendement zich op de toegankelijkheid van het Sociaal Domein. D66 wil dat de gemeente de mogelijkheid onderzoekt voor een proactieve en integrale werkwijze.
