slecht betaalde arbeiders uit Oost-Europa lokken, en extra vrachtwagens die problemen geven met onze overvolle aansluiting bij Kapellebrug naar Vlaanderen.<br><br>Het nieuwe distributiecentrum aan de industriezone in Hulst staat al meer dan een jaar leeg. Dat is niet alleen zonde van de investering, het laat ook zien dat we in Hulst tegen een groter probleem aanlopen: er is al veel te lang geen nieuwe uitgeefbare bedrijfsgrond beschikbaar. Bedrijven die willen uitbreiden of zich hier willen vestigen, lopen vast. Dat remt de lokale economie en kost kansen op werkgelegenheid.<br><br>De fractie van D66 Hulst maakt zich hier grote zorgen over. Wij vinden dat er nu \u00e9cht tempo moet worden gemaakt. Dat begint bij een betere bereikbaarheid, met als belangrijkste stap een fatsoenlijke oostelijke aansluiting richting Antwerpen. Zonder goede infrastructuur blijven kansen liggen. Maar \u00f3\u00f3k het ontwikkelen van nieuw bedrijventerrein ligt al veel te lang stil. Voor onze economie \u00e9n leefbaarheid zijn beide dossiers cruciaal.
