is het orgaan binnen de gemeenteraad dat optreedt als formele werkgever van de griffier en de griffiemedewerkers. In Hulst bestaat deze commissie doorgaans uit een vertegenwoordiging van raadsleden, zodat de raad op een zorgvuldige en professionele manier invulling kan geven aan haar werkgeversrol. De commissie werkt namens de gehele raad en bewaakt de onafhankelijkheid en goede ondersteuning van het raadswerk.<br><br><strong>Wat de werkgeverscommissie doet<\/strong><br>De werkgeverscommissie houdt zich bezig met zaken als werving en selectie, functionerings- en beoordelingsgesprekken, arbeidsvoorwaarden en het cre\u00ebren van een gezonde, professionele werkomgeving voor de griffie. Ook adviseert zij de raad over personele of organisatorische vraagstukken binnen de griffie. Zo zorgt de werkgeverscommissie ervoor dat de gemeenteraad beschikt over een sterke en goed ondersteunde griffie, die het democratische proces in Hulst optimaal kan faciliteren.<br><br><strong>Updates 2024 &amp; 2025<\/strong><br>Na het vertrek van griffier Dirk van Bunder, is er een interim griffier gekomen en is op de achtergrond een sollicitatieprocedure doorlopen. De griffie is van 1 fte uitgebreid naar 2,6 fte. We hebben nu een (strategisch) griffier, plaatsvervangend griffier die als raadsadviseur optreed en een ondersteunende griffiemedewerker.<br><br>Al met al grote stappen om een betere ondersteuning van de raad te hebben. In korte tijd zijn veel werkafspraken gemaakt, procedures vastgelegd, werken we transparanter, zoekt de raad&amp;griffie inwoners meer op, werken we tal van verordeningen bij, en gebruiken we het raadsinformatiesysteem steeds beter. D66 Hulst is blij met deze stappen die gezet zijn.
