voorzieningen realiseren op deze locatie. Hiervoor moeten de twee huidige kantoorpanden grondig worden verbouwd. Ook wordt er een nieuw gebouw toegevoegd.<br><a>\u00a0<\/a><br><strong>Jong en oud in de MIX<\/strong><br>Uitgangspunt van MIX is het principe van elkaar kunnen helpen. Met klusjes in huis bijvoorbeeld. Het organiseren van kleine evenementen of het onderhouden van gemeenschappelijk groen. Bewoners kunnen samen koken, ouderen kunnen studiebegeleiding bieden aan jongeren. Of andersom natuurlijk. Zo kan iedereen van elkaar leren en elkaar aanvullen. Natuurlijk willen mensen ook tijd en ruimte voor zichzelf. Daarom is er veel ruimte voor ontmoeting, maar ook een duidelijke scheiding tussen de ouderen- en jongerenwoningen.<br>\u00a0<br>MIX is gebaseerd op de West-Friese Woonchallenge 2021\u00a0uit het Woonakkoord van de zeven West-Friese gemeenten.\u00a0Studenten van InHolland werden destijds uitgedaagd om een plan te maken voor de herontwikkeling van de panden aan de Verlengde Lageweg. Elise: \u2018Het was fantastisch om als onderdeel van de opleiding Bouwmanagement &amp; Vastgoed van Inholland aan een uitdagend vraagstuk te werken. Centraal in de opdracht stond het cre\u00ebren van een plek waar mensen samen kunnen komen op een duurzame en toekomstbestendige manier.\u2019 \u2018Het is nog leuker om te zien dat aspecten van ons concept meegenomen zijn\u2019, vult Donny aan. \u2018Het is fantastisch dat het plan daadwerkelijk uitgevoerd wordt en wij in latere fases nauw betrokken worden\u2019, sluit Pieter af. \u2018Echt een uitdagend project!\u2019<br><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br><strong>Community<\/strong><br>Peter Langenberg, directeur van ZeemanVastgoed BV: \u2018Het plan voor het MIX-gebouw voorziet in woningen voor jong en oud. Het complex moet een bijzonder woonmilieu worden waarin jongeren en ouderen een \u2018community\u2019 vormen en elkaar versterken. In het plan zijn verschillende gemeenschappelijke ruimtes voor gezamenlijke activiteiten voorzien. Deze brengen levendigheid, gemak, mogelijkheden tot zorg nabij de seniorenappartementen en ze zorgen ervoor dat de MIX in verbinding komt te staan met de omliggende wijken. Het is onze ambitie om met vertegenwoordigers van de beoogde doelgroepen, ouderen en jongeren, het plan verder tot ontwikkeling te brengen.\u2019<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Kansen voor doorstroming en starters<\/strong><br>Marjon van der Ven, wethouder Wonen: \u2018Het plan MIX is het eerste initiatief in onze ambitie om van het bedrijventerrein Lageweg\/Verlengde Lageweg een meer gemengd gebied te maken. Het plan biedt kansen voor ouderen die graag willen doorstromen vanuit een (te groot geworden) eengezinswoning naar een betaalbaar appartement.\u2019<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Bijzonder initiatief<\/strong><br>\u2018Daarnaast biedt het plan een mooi woningaanbod voor jongeren die starten op de woningmarkt\u2019, vervolgt Marjon. \u2018De ontwikkeling van gemeenschappelijke ruimtes biedt daarbij veel mogelijkheden voor ontmoeting tussen de bewoners wat bijdraagt verbinding en gemeenschapszin. Een bijzonder initiatief wat we in Hoorn nog niet kennen.\u2019<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Vervolgtraject<\/strong><br>De huidige kantoorpanden worden op dit moment verhuurd. De komende periode werken de initiatiefnemers samen met de gemeente, omwonenden en belanghebbenden het plan verder uit. De gemeenteraad beslist of de ontwikkeling door kan gaan.
